I have been asked to make 10 dozen dinner rolls and need them by 11:30 A.M. this Saturday November 10. Got a good recipe for making several dozen at a time? I need about 6 or 7 dozen wheat and 4 dozen white. Thanks for your help.

the perfect all american layer cake in the cake bible. check out the wedding cake section. probably a good idea to do the 18 x 12 sheet cake for ample portions. the recommended amounts there are for wedding cakes.

o.k. sheila, think in terms of one person. one person would eat max. 3/4 pound of potatoes at one sitting so multiply this by 18 and you'll be sure to have enough.

to calculate the amount of ham you would need for 200 sandwiches make one sandwich and weigh the amount of ham you used. then multiply it by 220 so you have extra just to be safe (ham keeps well).
if you don't have a scale, judge by the amount that was in the package.
