Hot Tip for Cold Weather

The Snow Margarita

My favorite time to drink Margaritas is in Winter when it's very cold and it snows There is no frozen Margarita finer than one made with fresh driven snow and the colder the temperature the lighter and finer the snow.
If the kids are jealous make theirs with lemonade!
So new motto: In addition to "When life gives you lemons make lemonade"
"When life gives you freezing weather and snow, make frozen drinks"
Hey--I bet it would even elevate cocoa cola to a whole new level!

ah yes--sugar on snow! was introduced to it in vermont.

another option is maple syrup. i live up north (in iowa) and that's what we've done in the past.

Yes holly, like the website says some people use sweetened condensed milk. That works equally as for for 1 can of milk, approx 5 cups of snow and 1 tsp vanilla. I do say it tastes pretty good for 3 ingredients

thanks holly--this is so delightful--now i will look forward to a good fresh fall of snow!

Rose, here's something almost as good -- Snow Ice Cream
