julie, i have never made my own ice cream cones.

i really look forward to seeing what you guys do next for the bake-off. do keep me in the loop--it's the best entertainment!

On a different subject, have you ever posted/published a recipe for homemade ice cream cones?

kathy, freezers vary in how cold they are, how often they are opened, etc etc so you really should cut out a little piece to see how it tastes. it may have lost flavor but then again it might be fine. do let us know!

In July 2008 I made a 14" White Butter Wedding cake from the Cake Bible. Between the layers it is filled with lemon curd and blackberry jam. I heavily crumb coated it, wrapped it in plastic wrap and froze it. Would it still be okay to serve for a baby shower in August of 2009?
