Upstate New York Splendors Part 2b
Sep 19, 2010 | From the kitchen of Rose
Max London's Restaurant
We enjoyed both lunch and dinner at Max's restaurant, which included many desserts from the adjoining Mrs. London's Bakery that were pictured on the preceding posting. We also had roasted pineapple with a most intriguing flavor that turned out to be rosemary!
The photos below will give you an idea of the glorious savories that are offered here:
Home-cured Graavlox
Grilled Cheese
FABULOUS MUSHROOM AND POACHED EGG PIZZA
PULLED PORK
RUBEN WITH HOME-MADE PASTRAMI
CAPPELLETTI WITH SHRIMP AND CHORIZO
CAPUCCINO ELEGANTLY SERVED IN A RIEDEL OF AUSTRIA CUP
Next posting, part 3 will be of The Chocolate Mill in Glen's Falls.

Yum!. Everything looks amazing. I've been a bit crazed and quite busy the last couple of weeks and have been absent from the blog....I loved this posting. The pictures are beautiful and the food looks delicious.

The pizzas are dreamy! And I must say the eggs are wonderful too.
The eggs come from our farm.
It is with great pride that Charlie and I bring our eggs to Max London's. I am so proud to know they are in Max's kitchen and he is using them for his supernal offerings.
Visit Max London's and you will enjoy food unlike any to be found in our area. Certainly food like Max's may be more accessible to those in bigger cities, but around our area, it is nothing that one finds anywhere but here. They are our only place to dine when wanting to bring wonderful flavors, good service and great wines to our fellow diners. It is the only restaurant that comes to mind.
Till Max opens another, I am sure we will be back again and again for enjoying his offerings and the magic of Max London's and Mrs. London's next door.
What a blessing it is for Max to have had Rose bless him and his kitchen and restaurant with her ink (words)! I am sure he is honored and feeling very spoiled.
