The Suvir Experience Part 2
Nov 20, 2010 | From the kitchen of Rose
Taping Sally Longo's Show Dinner at 8
Woody and I had the pleasure of prepping for the show at the American Marsala Farm kitchen. We made the Whipped Cream Cake from the new book (Rose's Heavenly Cakes) and the food processor Beer Bread from The Bread Bible. We also made extra bread dough so I could demonstrate how to shape a bread loaf. I will be posting when it lands on YouTube.

Above is the link to Sally's site.
Sally is more than her site and even more than what could be expressed on a site or in words.
She is the host of Dinner at Eight and also the legendary local caterer of North Country across a couple and perhaps 3 counties around here. Warren and Washington Counties for sure and often Saratoga County too.
It is my guess that work keeps her too busy to blog or work on her site. The locals are luckier for that. They get to experience her magic through her TV presence and the great foods she betters their lives with at the events they celebrate being at.

Hi Sally,
Thanks for your reply. I was referring to the last line of Rose's post-"Meantime, here's the link to Sally's blog." and then no link is provided. I will search for your website.

Hi Jeannie - Actually, I don't have a blog, the link is for my website regarding my cookbook and catering services. I prefer to leave blogs to people like Rose and Suvir, who do such a good job of them! The tv station's new website is almost ready, and will eventually stream Rose's episode.

Hi Rose - You are such a natural on TV - one of the best we've had over the 5 year history of the show. Your episode was packed with information that you deliver in such a calm, authoritative manner. Can't wait to do a pie show with you next year!! Thanks again for taking the time to be on Dinner at 8.
