Bio

I like to eat good scratch food, and often being oblivious to the obvious, not long ago it occurred to me that maybe I should learn how to cook a few things.  Nothing fancy or too complicated, but at least learn how to make from scratch the foods that I most enjoy, which is typically southern fare.  I try to fix something new once a week, usually picking something from the NY TIMES dining section, which posts new recipes weekly.  I like America’s Test Kitchen because the recipes are thus far idiot proof and the food tastes great. I like cakes and pies, perhaps too much, so this website seems perfect because it has lots of great advice.  I look forward to buying/trying Rose’s books.  Thank you.
