I live in the Pacific Northwest, where hibernation is in order 9 months out of the year, but it’s the most beautiful place in the summer:).  I have three beautiful kiddos, who aren’t such kiddos any more.  My oldest son is attending law school in the fall, and my daughter is serving our country in the Navy.  I also have a 13 year old son in the midst of his teenage angst.  Yikes, the pitfalls of having such a large gap between children is you are lulled into thinking your youngest child might actually skip the bad parts.  I love to bake and have recently begun tackling cakes… my pitfall for the last 20 years.  Thanks to Rose I am actually achieving success in cakes that taste amazing and look appetizing as well.  Who knew I had it in me?
