I grew up around great cooks and found a natural talent for cake baking and decorating.  For years I baked cakes for friends and family.  After relocating to Southern California from Napa, I took some local cake decorating classes and loved it.  I ended up starting a small business after having to acquire a business license to make a friend’s wedding cake.  I thought, “If I have a license I might as well have a business.”  In the last two years I have built quite a base of satisfied customers.  I am forever grateful to Rose Levy Beranbaum for inspiring me and providing incredible recipes for what I like to call REAL cake.
