Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to kick off the new site forums.  If you’d like, you can introduce yourself below—just click the “Post Reply” button (or if you’re not registered yet, click “Register” above right).

I plan to play the role of gentle mixer here, allowing the conversations to rise without a great deal of kneading from my keyboard.

That said, if you have suggestions or questions, be sure to let me and the other Web folks know in the Forum Announcements section.

Hello from sunny Australia. Thank you Rose for starting this forum. I’m the only person I know who bakes bread, or anything for that matter, so it’s lovely to ‘meet’ others who share this passion—my husband would say obsession! I have made most of the breads in Rose’s book, and love them all. For me, many of them have the added attraction of being rather exotic, as we don’t have anything like them.

Hello!  Glad to be here to talk about what I love most…baking.  I am from Clearwater, Florida…but I am originally from Long Island, New York.  There is no better baker than Rose, so we can all talk and learn a lot here on this forum. I have all her cookbooks. The holidays are a good time for all of us to compare notes on our favorties recipes and how-to’s.  I have a lot to share and learn too.  Lorraine Fina Stevenski
