Mousseline buttercream is my favorite (several flavors in the freezer). Am fortunate to have both a stand and hand held mixer. I begin with the stand mixer then use the handheld while adding syrup and thus far no failures
Hello all from PA. I feel like a kid in a giant candy store. This is great. At 51 and recently disabled due to stroke, I am turning my hobby into a full time career and baking my way back to school to earn an associates degree in the pastry arts and hope to open my own bakery after college. Looking forward to learning a lot here. Thank you Rose for what I see here as a great learning tool.
Welcome, Baker51 ! Sorry to hear about your stroke, but it sounds like you’ve bounced back in a big way—congratulations!! Looking forward to hearing about your baking!
Welcome and kudos to you, Baker51! I’m relatively new to the forum myself, but I can attest to just how helpful Rose’s books and the forum members are. Good luck on your new endeavor!
Just stumbled upon Rose’s website and this forum! I’ve had several of Rose’s books in my baking library for a number of years and look forward to learning more here.
