Is there suppose to be a new cake bible book coming out in 2008, wanted to buy the one thats been out now, but heard there is a new one on the way. Does any one know of this?

It’s true, but the date is 2009.  If you are at all passionate about cakes, I would suggest owning both.  You can find used copies of TCB online and on ebay.  The new cake book will not be the same - different recipes from what I think Rose has stated.  It will also include a DVD . 

I’m so excited and can’t wait!

For what it’s worth, TCB is just that… a bible that explains everything you need to know about baking.
