clarified butter

Does anybody know if you can substitute clarified butter aka Ghee for regular butter in cake making?  Specifically does it cream the same way?  Also what about buttercream frostings?

No, it doesn’t cream the same way. Unless the recipe calls for melted butter, it probably can’t be substituted.
