The 2nd anniversary of my 39th birthday…. hahahahah, that’s so funny!!! Thanks so much guys! You put a huge smile on my face : )))))))))))))))))))). When I turned 40 last year, my daughter announced that she would be making me a birthday cake each year from then on. Poor thing had such a hard time frosting that cake that she decided to do a non-frosting cake this year. She banished me from the kitchen while she made a chocolate chip snack cake from a recipe she found in a magazine - she even lowered the oven temp to accommodate the glass baking dish (I guess she’s paid a little bit of attention after all). Happy Birthday Patricia!!! I remeber the choc cake your daughter made last year, and now this year she has graduated to scratch baking, is that right? She is a sweet thing to be making her Mom cakes every year
Hi Julie - yep, you remembered correctly. Last year she made a cake from a boxed mix and canned frosting, but this year the cake was from scratch! It was yummy too. I’m a proud mom!!!
