A thread that started out on the subject of small ovens ended up getting round to talk of leavening. I posted a link about baking powder that Matthew suggested it might be useful to post separately. I really had no idea there was so much variation in effectiveness by brand/application.

I know Debbie from another forum, and she really knows her stuff.  She has a degree in chemistry, and she has done countless experiments like this in her search for the perfect recipe.
