long long, Rose has always been an advocate of the Sharp countertop microwave oven with convection. the turntable is around 16” wide and you can fit up to 2 12-inch layer cakes, stacked with the grill rack. I have a similar one, Panasonic, and works very very well. It is recommended to turn off the convection fan, however nowadays, Rose recipes seem to be moister, so keeping the fan on is just fine, specially for the bundt aluminum and the silicone pans.
what is your experience?
i am eying for the sanyo one, it is smaller and seems perfect for most cakes we do. much friendlier than turning the big oven on. what do you think? seems that turning the fan off isn’t an option.
