was utterly delicious, moist, tasty, and oil based!  pumpkin cake doesn’t get better than this.  the amount of sweetness and spices was never overwhelming, you can taste the pumpkin.

We were very impressesed and wow, too, when unmolding the turkey. 

This pan is a 10 cup capacity, but I actually overfilled it to near 1/4 inch from the top.  I would fill it to the very top next time!  Make a 2X recipe and make cupcakes with the extra batter.  What happens is that the head and other narrow parts, don’t rise well because it uses much less batter.  The center rises and domes.  It is innevitable.  Before u unmold, level the cake with a serrated knife.

Rose’s pumpkin cake recipe IS delicious and so moist even the over baked trimming were delish!

The cakes look great Hector. The pan really shows off all the details. Will have to try the pumpkin cake soon, but probably just half the recipe. I love pumpkin but my enthusiasm for it is not shared by anyone else in my family…

Made the pumpkin cake yesterday. I was sick so couldn’t manage to do the buttercream - which was a real bummer as I was looking forward to do them. I am eating the cake now. It’s like Hector said, trully delicious, very moist! Also, I got to use my new fleur de lis bundt pan which was awesome. I really love the shape and am glad I chose this one.
