What gorgeous cakes, Jenn and Patrincia!  Jenn - that slice looks mouth-watering.  And Patrincia… your finishing on the cake looks so professional.  I love the spiralling swirl on top.  Just so deceptively simple and yet it probably takes some practice to get it looking so great.

Oh my, Patrincia, that is one perfectly beautiful cake!!  I love how you’ve decorated it, the presentation, setting and photo look very professional.

I know what you mean about the wait- it’s a good thing syruped sponge cakes need to have the crusts trimmed, or I’d never last!
