This is probably a very elementary question for many of you, but I want to make two Golden Butter Cream Cakes so I can have one double-layer cake. Can I double the recipe and then just pour into two pans and then bake the two cakes together? Or, should I mix and bake one cake at a time? Do I need to make any adjustments if I want to mix and bake both at the same time? Tia for your advice.
