I used Rose’s royal icing from the Snowflakes recipe (Rose’s Christmas Cookies).  I was so pleased that the houses were still standing after a bumpy ride

It took me about 7 days to make all of them: a day of making dough, 3 days of rolling the dough out and baking them with candy, and then the rest was decorating (piping outlines, flooding, construction).

Wow, these look fantastic!  Did they taste good?  What recipe did you use?

I used the “Molasses Gingerbread Cookie Dough” recipe off Martha Stewart’s website.  They were prizes and items for auction for my church’s Christmas Eve celebration.  We raised some money for a local soup kitchen.

And yes, I was told that the houses were delicious =)
