My husband has been loving his TBB I gave him for Christmas and I am already choosing some of my ‘favorites’ for him to bake. Last week end he made the Cinnamon Raisin Bread, it was so delicious. This week end, he repeated, at my request, his version of the Prosciutto Bread Ring, using Spanish Chorizo. This Chorizo is my favorite, and I love to eat it on a piece of bread when we have tapas, so he thought, “why not?” and baked it in the bread. I highly recommend both these breads.

I bet your house smelled wonderful while your husband was baking these.  I absolutely love the smell of homemade bread!!!  Cinammon Raisin bread is my favourite.
But I have never made any type of bread (except biscuits).  The whole process makes me nervous.

Thank you everyone.  My husband gets credit for this.  I was the baker in the house for years, having taught myself, and I wanted our kids to have healthy foods, so I just kept trying until I got it right.  Then I stopped baking when both my children worked for a great bakery, between them for 7 years!  My husband started doing more of the baking, and now it is his favorite thing to do on the week ends.

For those of you who haven’t baked many or any breads, and want to, I suggest you use Rose’s book and go for it!  Nothing is as good as home baked bread, and you can make the kind you want.  It all freezes well, so in our case of only 2 people in the house, and we aren’t huge eaters, we can eat it over a week or more.

Lovely breads, Linda!  I know how difficult it can be to make such beautiful spiral breads, nice job.

Linda - Fantastic loaves… I with your hubby would spread the love to my hubby!  I’d be SHOCKED if he ever wanted to bake, but I would certainly encourage it if he did!
