I was wondering if any of you have used a chocolate ganache on the checkerboard cake? I’m making one of these cakes for a bake sale next week and I wanted to use the chocolate ganache, but since I’ve never made this cake with the ganache I’m not sure how well it works with it. I love chocolate ganache. It’s easy to make and it tastes great (imho). My concern is that it might be too rich and overpower the flavor of the cake. Any thoughts and opinions on this will be much appreciated.
