? about Sybil’s Pecan Torte recipe in Rose’s Heavenly Cakes

Good morning,

I’ve received a gift of 6 pounds of Louisiana pecans, and I want to bake a cake instead of my usual pies.  Am prepping for baking Sybil’s Pecan Torte in Rose’s Heavenly Cake. 

I will be using Medaglia D’Oro instant espresso coffee, but it is not clear to me if I should make it into 1 tablespoon of liquid espresso or use 1 tablespoon of the espresso grounds when I add the ingredient to the yolk mixture.  Can you please clarify it for me?

Never mind!  I re-read the instructions again, and the answer was in the section “toast and grind the pecans.”  Thanks, Ms. Beranbaum, for writing such good instructions!
