Is the KA whisk attachment suitable for all models? And the bowl? I’d like to buy 2 spare ones but I’m not sure about this…..........

The wire whisk attachment is different depending on the model of the mixer.  I believe if your mixer model starts with KSM that you need whisk K5AWW. 

For the bowl, I think you can use K5ASBP or KB3SS.  The latter is a smaller bowl but fits the 5 qt. model. 
I checked this out on Kitchenaid.com and shopkitchen.com.  Of course, you do not have to purchase there, it just helps as it matches up the accessories. 

I “think” generally if it says it fits 5 qt. tilt-head model it works.
