HI everyone just wanted to say hi since its been awhile!! I had my baby, on Feb 28th and can’t seem to get the time to do ANYTHING (much less bake!) So, i hope that once things get calmed down a bit, i can get back to cooking/baking! I do miss it!

i had a girl, she was born on 2/28/10 and was 8lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. Her name is Madison Grace.
I am doing good, have had a massive lack of sleep, but other than that, pretty well!! I give props to anyone who breastfeeds, i did it for 2 weeks and almost had a nervous breakdown lol.
What a lovely name! Grace is a family name on my husband’s side of the family, it is now very popular here again, in the UK I mean! I hope you both prosper!
Ski, congratulations! Please post a picture for us. Just think of all the birthday cakes you will be making over the years - your little girl will always have the best cakes!
I will always remember the year my son turned five. That was the year I had time again for baking, sewing, reading. After having a child, your life will never be the same again. It will be better than before. Congratulations!
Woo hoo! Congratulations, Ski and welcome, Madison Grace! Those early months are so grueling, sleep-wise, but you’ll get through it. Many sleep through the night by three months- I know that sounds like a long time to wait, but you’ll get there!
Yes to what the others said, she’ll have the best birthday cakes ever! Hope you post a pic sometime.
Ski, so glad to hear of your daughter’s arrival and to know that mama and baby are doing fine. It is a huge adjustment. Don’t rush getting back to anything, let alone baking. First priorities are Madison Grace and sleep when you can get it! Whenever anybody offers to help, say YES!

so far so good, having a baby is tough!!! She eats a lot too (more than a typical 3 week old apparently) she is gaining weight like u wouldn’t believe!!
its so different now, going from working FT to now being at home FT and not even getting out of sweat pants each day. Thats the toughest thing so far i think, i get no time to brush my hair!!
