Your picture is cracking me up! And the trifle is gorgeous. You are going to inspire me to tape two forks together and give that spun sugar a try!!
Loopy, it was such fun. I used two wooden dowels and put them 12inches apart and taped dishwasher and floor beneath with newspaper so avert spatter. Be sure to wear socks and jeans. Have someone take pic of the monumental event. I used copper sugar pot. not smart bec of heat. traveling through hotpad. Next time will use heat deterrant handle like iron clad. Try it, you’ll like it. Pretty soon we will all have trifle avatars. We can start a club of triflers.
