I made this from the recipe in TBB for the first time. The crumb is perfect and it is delicious.

I made a few mistakes…
1. I should not have put shortening and non stick spray on the sides because the top rolled in a little
2. I should have removed the cake at the minimum time. It was ready as far as the temperature went but I must have poked the apple filling and it appeared soggy to me DUH
Still, it was really delicious
