How in the world do you know how much of what to make batter how much flour eggs sugar etc can anyone help

developing your own recipe is very very very very very (enough very’s?) difficult and time consuming. Use published and proven recipies like the amazing ones in Rose’s books
I’m not a scientist so I always use a recipe when I bake. Baking is very different from cooking in that way.
