My daughter wants a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling for her birthday cake.  I was thinking of using the superstabilized whipped cream recipe with crushed oreo cookies mixed in with it.

Just wanted to know if anyone has ever made this type of filling before and how it turned out.

It’s quite delicious but not for a cake that your’e not going to eat fairly soon. The whipping cream tends to flatten and deflate and you loose that ‘fluffy’ feeling, but it is gooooooooood!

For something that’s more stable, you might consider that recipe for “dirt cake” that I think includes vanilla pudding in the mix.
