Hiii.. I want to make a doll cake, which base cake would be better???? I am big fan of Genoise but it may not work… Should I stick to Yellow cake ??? But the little girl may want chocolate cake as well ... Please help me with the base cake

I think you’ll need a firmer sort of cake like a butter or pound cake to support the doll.  If the genoise needs brushing with liqeur or syrup that might not be ideal for supporting the doll either.

I will be trying to bake with Yellow Butter cake this week.. will let you know how it went
