Ineke, Rose doesn’t check the forums very often, if you want her to see a post it should be entered over on the blog.

As regards your cream cheese question, I haven’t tried that variation, but cream cheese has a lot more water and less fat than butter, so the buttercream may not emulsify properly.  If you do end up trying it, please report back.

I’ve tried adding cream cheese to Italian meringue buttercream, it’s not a great idea It doesn’t break or anything, it just tasted awful!
