Has anyone made this cake before? I love Tres Leches cake and would love to try it but I don’t have a 9x3 inch pan. Can I use a 13X9 in square pan and maybe double the recipe or is that even needed?

By 9X5 tube pan be used?

I made the cake in a springform pan and the pan was big enough.  It didn’t overflow.  However, the cake really didn’t turn out.  There was much too much liquid and the bottom half was super soggy and almost fell apart.  I tried to use a baster to get all the liquid but there was too much.  The cake was just sitting in the liquid.  The top half that wasn’t super soggy was really good so I will make it again with half as much liquid.

Dee, this cake did turn out well for me.  I used a round springform with a parchment collar instead of the 3” high pan.  The cake would be a little overflowing in a 2.5” or 2” high pan.

It is pictured in my avatar (with caramel topper).
