My “Rose” cake strips finally arrived in the mail this morning.  Apparently, they have been backordered.  Can’t wait to use them.  The wet paper towels in foil thing is for the birds.

Congratulations, what are you going to make first?

I haven’t decided.  Maybe either a yellow or white butter cake with vanilla mousseline, but with the addition of walnuts.  (an attempt to duplicate a cake Hubby and I had from somewhere several years ago)

We will see—I’m not usually one to modify any cake recipes.
