I got the pan on sale years ago and this recipe actually called for the Nordic Ware Elegant Heart Pan, so it was destiny. 

Well, it’s a great pan for that cake!!!  So cool you had it!

Thanks so much lemontree_guy! No secret….just find and make the best recipe. Rose’s RHC recipe is terrific and I follow the instructions to the letter. This is one very tasty cake indeed.

You inspired me to make this cake.  My, oh my, it was delicious!  We couldn’t believe how light a sour cream cake could be.  We shared half with some friends and managed to eat the rest ourselves.  It is going to be a favorite for us!
