Hello!  I just wanted to pass along the cake I did for my son’s 13th birthday party today.  We did a orienteering scavenger hunt with 8 of his friends.  The cake was Perfect All-Occ Choc cake with Oreo filling covered in fondant.  Everything was edible, including the rocks, trees, pen and orienteering compass (excluding a few toothpicks). 

I wouldn’t let him see it as I was working on the details the last few days, so it was really fun when he finally got to see it right before the party—he was thrilled!

OH Cathy… I love your cakes!  I bet your son was very pleased with his birthday cake!  I really like your tiered cakes - can’t decide which is my favorite between the dotted monogram or the french floral… they are so beautiful!  Great Job!
