I am cooking through Rose’s Heavenly cakes in a year and so far the trifle has been the best one yet. I made it for a party and not only was it beautiful but it was a huge success!

Wow, that’s gorgeous!  Your cloud of spun sugar looks wonderful, and I’ll bet it was delicious.

Yes to what Dar said, hope you’ll post more of your work smile

Jane, beautiful trifle! Your spun sugar looks really awesome. This cake is one of my favorite in the book too. Wait until you get to the Apple Caramel Charlotte - that one is really good as well.

Congrats on undertaking 1 year baking. That’s a lot of cakes to do in 1 year.

I’m not sure if you’re interested in joining the Heavenly Cake Bakers. We are baking through the book once a week. The official club is almost done, 4 more weeks. But after that I will lead the group, baking the remainder 20 cakes that I have left.

The club’s website is here: http://heavenlycakeplace.blogspot.com/
Come check us out!

Jane,
YAY! I’m happy to hear that you’ll join!

To join, you can leave a comment in the blog for Marie, give her your blog address. Or you can email her at mlwolf2@comcast.net.

The rules are that you must have the book, a blog, and bake once a week with a minimum of 2 a month (shouldn’t be a problem as I see you bake 2 in a week). You need to post your cake on Sunday/Monday. Since you bake 2 in a week you can post both if you want.

Once you’ve joined, you can take the HCB badge and post it on your blog. The badge is on the right side of the blog (scroll down a bit and you see it). There are 4 different sizes/design that you can choose from.
