Lemon Poppyseed Wedding Cake - with lighter texture than pound cake?

Rachel, Thank you so much for your work on this.  I used it as the basis for a friend’s wedding cake and everyone loved it.  Someone even snuck into the fridge to steal the piece I’d set aside for the couple’s first anniversary!  The cake was so moist and light.  I used Rose’s lemon curd for the filling and added some curd to the limoncello mouseline.  It was utterly divine.  The bride was thrilled.  Thank you for the inspiration!  Now, if only I could decorate like you…

Ha! You are too, too kind. Thank you very much. I am so glad it was a hit! And flavoring the nmouselline with the lemon curd is a fabulous idea. I have done it since and agree that it is DIVINE with the limoncello. I am looking forward to my next wedding cake project (very soon) and posting about it. The groom wants a crazy filling and we shall see if I can pull it off.
