Very proud of this cake! First time working with chocolate and it went extremely well.  It’s red velvet, cream cheese filling with Rose’s vanilla mousseline and her dark chocolate lacquer on the outside. 

It was a HUGE hit at my friend’s 30th birthday party.  Very proud!

Very glossy glaze, but the cake took it well. Tricky to assemble so it’s not ‘perfect’, and since this was my first tiered cake, I think I can still give myself a pat on the back, lol.

Your cake looks wonderful!!  The white decorations ( white chocolate?)  Look awesome against the dark glaze background.  Looks like your first tiered cake was a great sucess.  Were you guests surprised to find a beautiful red cake inside when it was cut?

I love the candles you choose for the cake.  A very elegant touch.

I am totally impressed and even blown away.  I love all the work you did with the white chocolate—all the irregularity of it just really makes it.I love the structure on top, too. I love how you used curves, jagged edges, straight lines, thin things and thicker things.
