This week I couldn’t follow along with the HCB because I had already made the cake so I chose to do the chocolate feather bed instead!

It was so delicious! I have gotten so OCD about the eggs in the g?noise that I actually went to the grocery store in the middle of baking because I was 9 out of 112 grams short. In the end it was totally worth it because the cake was wonderful.  It was definitely a crowd pleaser and i’ll be keeping the recipe for later use!

Check out my blog for the process http://thesugarwaltz.blogspot.com/

Gorgeous, Jane, so happy to see your rendition!

These components have long been a family favorite, we do ours as a roulade for the holidays, so I know your must have been delicious.

Gorgeous presentation and photo Jane. Glad to hear you liked the cake. I admire your spirit, going to the grocery store to get the extra 9 grams!
