You may want to test a small portion first.  It holds the best of any all-butter buttercream, but it does eventually melt at some point (not sure exactly when).  Avoid direct sun, of course.

the recipe for mousseline buttercream is in the cake bible and also an updated version is in rose’s heavenly cakes.
