Well, things are going along pretty good for this wedding cake I am doing in September.  All my flowers are finally made and I made the sugar vase bouquet today that will sit on top of the top tier.  I ended up breaking a few flowers along the way, but I was quite happy with the results.  Now it is sitting in my china cabinet.  I was too afraid someone would bump into it and all that hard work would be ruined.  Now I am just terrified to transport it to the reception site.  I might need to hire my husband to help me that day.  I just wanted to share my progress.

I am completely gobsmacked that you made these things.  They are amazing!!!!!!!  They are beautiful!!!!!  Holy cow, I cannot wait to see the cake!

aww Anne.  You are going to make my head swell.  This whole wedding cake has been alot of trial and error and alot of it I am learning as I go.  I feel like it has consumed my life over the last month.  I will actually be glad when it is over.  I realize the last couple of posts weren’t really about any of Rose’s recipes, but they are leading up to the biggest cake I have ever made.  And of course everthing but the flowers is made with Rose’s recipes.

Thank-you Julie and Jeanette.  I better write down camera on my list of what I have to bring to the reception site, or else I might forget.  My to do list is slowly withering down, finally.  I need to write everything down because I know I would forget something or forget to do something.

This is officially the first cake (cake accessories for now lol) that made me take double triple and quadruple looks at the details to confirm in wild disbelief that you really made them! Unbelievable! I still can’t believe it. LOL You belong on TV not in a forum!
