My 27th birthday party was yesterday. I picked the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party theme because there’s just so much fun you can have with it! It was a great success and I am even more grateful that I have Rose’s Heavenly Cakes in my arsenal

For the ‘eat me’, we made tiny vanilla cupcakes with a lacquer glaze so that we could write on them.

My favourite on the day was the Two Fat Cats Whoopie Pie. If you haven’t made this yet, you MUST. It is pure indulgence

I also made the fabulous Pumpkin Cheesecake - the caramel unfortunately started melting in the heat

And some Red Velvet Cupcakes with the Dreamy Creamy White Chocolate Frosting

Made some of my own creations as well. All in all, a good 3 days’ work, but it was worth it!

I love the theme of your birthday party.  I have to ask,  what did you put in the little bottle that says “drink me”.  It is so cute.

Thanks Liza. I used Caramel Vodka - a bit of a naughty treat for the grown-ups The bottle held about 2 tots’ worth.

Yum, I’ve never heard of caramel vodka, but it sounds delicious.  Do you drink it straight up or mix it with something else.

That looks like a fun party with lots of really, really good baking!!!  I love those fat cats, too, and yours look great!!

It’s a shooter really, but I like sipping it - otherwise it goes straight to your head! It tastes a bit like the melted sugar on top of Creme Brulee. Mmmm
