Hi, Rose and everyone -
My friends and family always rave about the Sourdough Wheat with Seeds (The Bread Bible), so I decided to enter it into the Routt County Fair in northwest Colorado in August. It won Reserve Grand Champion! In fact, the judges told me later that it really was a toss up between it and another (really gorgeous) sourdough. Yea! As a side note, my sourdough starter came from a long-time resident who said it was brought to Colorado in a covered wagon by her grandmother settler well over 100 years ago. Thanks for sharing such a great bread with us, Rose.
