Rose?s Notre Dame Gingerbread Cathedral

Just git the courage to build the gingerbread Notre Dame Cathedral featured in Rose’s Christmas Cookies book.  Has anyone tried this and do yoi have any pointers for me?

I’ve never made this, but I did use the recipe to make gingerbread people.  I found the dough very crumbly—after I added an egg, it worked perfectly!  (I later realized Rose also had a gingerbread people recipe in the book…whoops!)

I haven’t tried the cathedral, thought I do use her gingerbread from the front of that book extensively. 

It’s an amazing undertaking, hope you document it with pictures and post back!

my recommendation is to spend 2 or 3 months on this!  enjoy the process, it will be worth the results.  gingerbread keeps well.

i will definitely make it!
