My family discovered ( wink my Amazon wish list.

This heart shaped pan…... http://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-Quilted-Heart-Pan/dp/B001TRDWNK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313900425&sr=8-1

I thought there was a RHC recipe using this pan but realize it was a Forum member that inspired me.  Now I have to decide what to bake in any ideas.

And, this decorating turntable ...of all the things in my wish list, I was on the verge of purchasing

I am very excited.

Hi CRenee,
Congrats on getting your new bakeware. This pan looks ideal for Valentines baking. Nordic Ware pans usually have some pretty good recipes for their pans on their labels.
The capacity is imprinted on the newer NW pans. You can use Rose’s recipes with great success.
The cake stand looks great, did you get it yet?  smile
Can’t wait to see what you make with this pan.

Congratulations!

You must have been inspired by our cheerful and indefatiguable baker, Loopy, who made the red velvet cake in this pan for her little twin girls’ birthday!

Congratulations on those lovely gifts!

Your heart pan reminds me a little of my medium-deep tart pan, which I use quite a lot.  The truth is, just about any layer cake will work.  And you can pipe buttercream or whipped cream accents to go with the design, or put berries at all the quilting junctures, etc.  Maybe the golden lemon almond with a wide band of blueberries on the plate around it and piped accents?  Or TCB golden butter cream cake with strawberries around and chocolate ganache or whipped cream accents?  It might also be great with the RHC double chocolate valentine cake- the quilts would be covered by the berries but the sides would still be pretty.

Looking forward to seeing what you make!
