Think I forgot to post this….the filling is Trisha Yearwoods…the rest it RHC.  The filling is delicious ... very delicious.

Very nice…..is that Rose’s recipe?  I like more chocolate; it is the optional version in her book.

Thank you, yes, this is Rose’s Recipe.  Except we increased the frosting by about one third.  And, I do believe we cooked it too long, it is too thick but very yummy.  I love the way that Rose does not just have good recipes, her presentations have taught me a lot.  With this German Chocolate Cake, Rose’s idea of leaving frosting off the sides just emphasizes how nice the frosting is.
