I can’t locate my marble cake recipe to save my life, so i need some opinions. I need another cake that will fix 12x18 pan and will be good. I dont care what kind it is.

I alrady made the choco butter cake from TCB in this size pan and wasn’t happy with the dryness of it (and in reading posts i recall, i think it was Hector, stating that butter cakes dont taste as good in a 12x18 pan?). So i need some sort of recipe that will make this large of cake and WILL BE MOIST!!

I have made the downey yellow butter cake numerous times in a 12 x 18 pan and it has always turned out beautifully.  I used cake strips as well 3 upside down flower nails and not one of my cakes have fallen.  I think this is my favourite recipe from the cake bible.

ugh i think i gave up. im just going to do 2 9x13 layers (in a 9 x 13 pan)...........now istill gotta figure out what kind of cake. i PREFER chocolate but at this point. i dont care!

next question. if i found a recipe that is for 2 round pans, can i put it in a 9x13? if so, what should i change?
