I LOVE the rye bread recipe in The Bread Bible. I was wondering if it would work to make a batch of the rye and a batch of the pumpernickel, swirl them together and bake in loaf pans. The oven temp is lower for the pumpernickel so I thought maybe I could use the lower temp called for since I want to use 2 loaf pans. Any thoughts? Thanks!
