If you’ve got a good suggestion for Rose’s blog roll (that’s the list of “Sites She Likes” on the right side of her blog), just reply here and include the name as well as the Web address of the site.

If you’d like your own site to be listed there, let us know why!

I can’t guarantee Rose will add it, but it doesn’t hurt to ask…

I love cakecentral.com - it has photos of fantastic cake creations!

I also like thepioneerwoman.com - some recipes, but mostly very entertaining writing from a high society city dweller turned cattle rancher wife (very funny).

I would like to see David Lebovitz’s site (http://www.davidlebovitz.com/index.html) added on. And how about Hector’s site? Afterall he has inspired many of us with his talents using Rose’s recipes.

Perhaps Rose might like to include Bread cetera (http://www.breadcetera.com) in her Blogroll.

We have what is probably the largest range of piping tips in the UK on our site http://www.hygienius.co.uk they are stocked by dozens of our distributors throughout the UK. We also carry dozens of items such as lattice cutters, croissant cutters, dough wheels etc. Hopefully this qualifies us for inclusion grin

Hi!  I would like to suggest my new baking, food, & travel blog:  The Cook’s Tour.  The URL is http://www.thecookstour.blogspot.com .  I am an avid baker & have been a big fan of Rose’s since the early 80s. Thanks for your consideration.

Outstanding blog.  Keiko is originally from Japan living in the UK.  Her site includes stunning photography as well as her baking/cooking which are works of art.  I have no idea how someone can have this sort of talent naturally.  Her writing style makes for easy and interesting reading.

Dear Rose,

I was quite nicely suprised to come accross your blog and impressed with your knowledge about Vanilla!!
I am myself one of the directors of a UK company called Vanillabazaar.com specializing as you can imagine in Vanilla but only Madagascan as for me being myself originally from Madagascar, Bourbon vanilla pods from this area of the world are just divine compared to vanilla from other country…

Well done for your cooking passion and sharing with others. It’s nice to see people like you who still enjoy cooking the traditional way.
Regards

Hi Vanillagirl,

Welcome to the Forum.  I’m in the UK and have bookmarked your site.  I shall place an order next week!  I do get Madagascan Vanilla pods from Highland Wholefoods but they are very expensive and probably not such good quality.  Thanks for making yourself known.  There are a few others from the UK on this site as well.

I just received a luscious order from Vanillagirl -wow!  And a free bar of soap was included.  The beans are SO moist and the perfume is heavenly.  Also, they are less than half the cost of those from my regular wholeseller.

This place recruits volunteer bakers for kids who need a cake but don’t have anyone to bake one for them:  http://www.freecakesforkids.com

Please take a look at this amazing LA girl’s blog.  Not many people know of her site based on the replies to her posts.
