I’m a fan of East Village Kitchen! My daughter writes this blog, but I don’t think I’m being biased when I say, it’s wonderful. She decided that she loves baking so much that she up and left her job for pastry school. I do hope you will enjoy it too.
An exciting new blog that is designed for novice bakers and professional bakers alike. The focus is on bread baking but there will also be submissions about entrees, desserts, appetizers, and more. Come join the Pocketful community.
I would like to suggest my own site http://www.PastriesByVreeke.com If it wasn’t for Rose and the Cake Bible, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Her cake recipes are invaluable and I couldnt bake without them. She has been the inspiration of all my recipes!
Thank you Rose,

Jeannette,
Thank you for the compliment. I have had my business professionally for approx. 6 years. I went back to cooking school and gravitated toward baking. Then once I found cake decorating, I was hooked, taking classes from the best of the best and haven’t stopped since. I love creating cakes and specialize in wedding and large special occasion cakes.
This year I was part of Colette Peters team on the Ultimate Cake Off - Griffith Observatory….... We Won!

I’ll toot my own horn by saying that I think my blog should be included in Rose’es blog roll. It is unique, in that it is written by a gringa (me) recounting cooking, baking, eating and other food related adventures in Mexico. I try to introduce others to the wonderful cuisine and ingredients of this colorful country. My baking is always “Rose” inspired. In fact, taking a failed cake recipe and using Rose’s techniques to fix it started my blog off with my very first post for an almond pound cake.
I just received a luscious order from Vanillagirl -wow! And a free bar of soap was included. The beans are SO moist and the perfume is heavenly. Also, they are less than half the cost of those from my regular wholeseller.

Muchas gracias.
That is really funny because as I was scrolling down here I thought Kathleen’s blog should be there! It is so fabulous. joan
I’m a newbie on this forum, but I wanted to suggest that our blog be added to the Blogroll. Between the Pages (http://betweenthepagesblog.typepad.com/) celebrates great food, teaches you to become a better cook, and helps you have more fun in the kitchen.
