Just love this combo….. See how yellow it is ... I made Silk Meringue which is already kind of yellow…. and I added Lemon Curd… That was not thought threw….it was rich.  But it was not mine so I did not get to taste the final cake nor see a slice.  This was 7 inch.  Just love that through this forum I learned how to do nearly any size.

This looks good! I love the layer of coconut on the yellow frosting and the lemon rose.

CRenee, that looks soooo pretty….the coconut adds a nice, delicate touch.

My family isn’t fond of coconut but I found they enjoyed it when I paired it with lime curd. I’ll have to try it with lemon.

What a perfect little cake!  Another beautiful rose, and the coconut is great, too.  I probably would have loved the double-yolk silk meringue/lemon curd buttercream, must taste something like the lemon neoclassic, which I love.
